WEEK 15

Thursday 30th, we have strike and we don't go to school.

Friday 31, today we have continued to carry out the cosimir exercises, which are getting complicated since we always have that fear that those of the other classrooms will cause a short circuit and with it the program would be deleted since we do not have a license. On the other hand, the other part of the group has caused a short circuit or we do not know that reaction has had a card that started to come out smoke and an odor has burned.teachers have not been able to tell us the problem so it is unresolved.

Monday 3th, We didn't have to go to class today since we've dreaded party. Today it was San Blas




Tuesday 4th, Today Adri and Unai have continued to do Cosimir's exercises. These exercises have been finished today. While Xabier and Aritz have managed to do the wiring of the model and have continued with the challenge program. Andoni, for his part, has continued to make the screen, which we will then have to use as a command in the project. In the end. of the day the teacher has been explaining to us that towards the g120 drive and we have been watching different videos on youtube of its operation and we found it quite interesting.




Wednesday 5th, There has been a major foul in our group, since Xabier has been ill. Well, today we continued to do the same as yesterday. Unai has started to look at the operation of the drive, but has not managed to run the engine. Andoni has continued to make the screen. While Aritz has continued with the screen programming. While Zorri has completed the documentation of the project

WEEK 14

Thurday 23th, We have started the day, making presentations of different conversations. Unai and Aritz have had to make first and then they have made Adrian and Xabier. We think we've done better than we expected. After this class, we've continued to do our last challenge. While Xabi and Aritz continued with the wiring of the model, Unai, Adrian and Andoni have continued to do different exercises of In-Sight Explorer, which we basically use for vision. Then Aritz has started to look on the internet the operation of the drive that we will have to use for this challenge.

Friday 24th, Today unfortunately we have suffered several casualties in the team, Unai Zarandona and Aritz Fernandez are sick so they have not attended class. On the other hand, several of the members have spent most of their time helping other groups while others did exercises. to do the exercises we are using an application called COSIMIR which for our taste is a little old but good fulfills its function. coming from the previous challenge which was an abb robot with the ROBOT STUDIO app. This ROBOT STUDIO program was much more innovative and easier to use.

Monday 27th, Today we have been connecting the wires of the robot. This thing, it has been a little bit difficult but the first PLC is connected very well. The second PLC is not connected yet, so tomorrow we are going to pass the time connecting the second PLC. Unai Zarandona and Adrian Zorrila are doing COSIMIR again, but it is easy so they are doing very quickly. We are good programmers so we thing that the programming is going to be very easy.

Tuesday 28th, we finally finished wiring up 2 tables. Table 1, has 5 inputs and 5 outputs; on the other hand table 2, has 5 inputs and 3 exits. After wire up we communicated the PLC'S in the Tia Portal program, which was quite simple. We started with the program, and we will continue it tomorrow, I don't think it would take much, because the other groups found it easy. On the other hand Adrian and Unai, they continued with Cosimir's exercises which are a little boring

WEEK 13

Thurday 16th, We started with the English class. Where we have done some exercises and review what we will have to present next week, which is an interview between two people. After this class, we have shown the final project to the teacher and he passed us the checklist, and he has put everything ok. Then some of us have set out to go over the robot for tomorrow's exam, while the others have done the same with the camera. We think we're pretty well prepared for our last exam of the course

Friday 17th, Today we have to do the individual tests, we will do them in two shifts, first will the people who have to go to dual in the afternoon. The examination consists of positioning the robot at one point, after putting the robot at that point take it to the ramp and there take the piece and take it to the cnc point. Then from the cnc point you will have to move the part to the paint point. from the paint point we will take it to the drying point and thus finally finish the process. in the theoretical part we will have to answer a few questions about robots and vision exercises.

Monday 20, Today we have present all the project in groups and our project is about ABB ROBOT. We present our presentation in front of the classmates and in front of the teacher, Jon. Our ABB ROBOT is very good programmed so we think that we have to have a good mark on the task. Apart from that, with Garazi we have started doing some different things. For example, we have done a balance about our company and how many products  we have sold. With Garazi, we have worked Xabier and Aritz, because Unai, Adrian and Soto have validated. Our product is called LLAVBIERTO.

Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22, we have started with the new project, it is the last of the course, and we also have the luck that in this project we do not have to do individual test. Honestly, we think it's the worst and the most boring challenge, because there are so many broken and damaged things. Still, we don't know very well where to start or much less to do, however we are asking for help from the previous groups. Tomorrow we'll start programming the model.

WEEK12

Tuesday 09, Today we started the day with the English class where the teacher has explained what we will have to do in the tech talk test, which we have in 2 weeks. Then we followed the challenge. Where Unai and Adrian have continued to test the robot. While Xabi, Aritz and Andoni have continued to set up the camera that is giving us quite a lot of trouble. At the end of the day Xabi explained one of the ways to use the robot. Where we caught it the first, as it was quite simple to understand.

friday 10,Today the first few hours we have been a part of the group working with the robot to prepare it for the exam, then Soto has continued to review small things for the exam. the last hours of the day are dedicated to trying to combine the robot program with the camera program. this last one happens it is taking a long time since the computer program only works in 1 pc then that is taking us longer than we would like. finally at the last minute a teacher has come and solved the problem which only allowed us to work with the camera program on another computer. 

Monday 13, Yesterday was not a very productive day, because it was Monday and we were returning from vacation. However, it gave us time to finish some things, for example we reviewed the final program of the robot, to verify that everything worked correctly, and met all the conditions that the challenge asked us to do, and by this way to get the best possible note. On the other hand we continue with some exercises, for which we do not have much time.

Tuesday 14, we have done a lot of things. First, we start finishing all types of exercises. We are doing different things like explaining a robot which is able to play tenis with a profesional. This robot use a Artificial Intelligence and the name of the robot is FORPHEUS. This name is compose by FOR+ORPHEUS( character of greek mythology). Apart from that, we are doing the ABB 120 ROBOT  and we think that is very well. Adrian and Unai are doing the COGNEX camera because is too difficult. 

WEEK 10

Thursday 5th, today we had the final challenge exams. We have divided into two groups to take the exam as we do not have enough devices, so each part of the group has 3h to finish it. Aritz was the first to finish the exam and told the second part of the group what the exam was like. Finally the exam has been quite simple, we expect excellent results. On the other hand we have to start preparing the presentations of English and also of the final challenge.  This challenge is one of the simplest challenges we've put out that it's a mixture of the previous.

Monday 9th, Today we are back from the Spanish constitution. Unsurprisingly, we didn't come very animated. Today we had to make the presentations of the challenges. We did quite well those presentations, since we had very well prepared. After making them we had to rotate to start with the new challenge. Last challenge with examination.. Then we came the teacher has explained a little about the challenge, what we had to do, what we were going to evaluate and in the end we ended up playing three in line. Today was very good.

Tuesday 10, second day in the new proyect we are very confused because we have never work with a robot, and in this proyect we will learn to do it. It looks great but it also looks difficult. During the day we have been speaking all together (the group) abot how we are going to work in the next 3-4 weeks, and we have make a plan that we will continue for this proyect.

Wednesday 11, Today we start working well with the ABB ROBOT. We start doing different tasks like MOVE_L , MOVE_J, MOVE_C and a lot of different things. They are very symple things, but to do the project we need more programming skills on the ABB ROBOT. Apart from that, Unai and Adrian continued with Robot-Studio programm and Soto continued with the IN-SIGHT EXPLORER programm. Here you have a photo about our ABB ROBOT, that is "IRB 120" mark. 

 

WEEK 11

Thursday 12, Today we have done a lot of different things. At 8:00, we have started with English classes and we have done Oral presentations. After that, we continue with ABB robot because we have class with Jon. Then, at 10:00 we continue with Oral presentation. In our group, Aritz and Xabi have done about Robots (Micro-robots, Smart Robots...) but Adrian and Unai have done about Robots but about another things. Then, we have continued with the ABB robot because there is very interesting. To do the robot, we will do with the robot or with the "Robot Studio" program.

Friday 13, Today we have continued with the exercises that we must perform with the robot studio program, and we are having problems trying to put different speeds to the robotic arm. if we do it on the real robot if you leave us but not in the program. While the other part of the group is programming the robot for final practice. We have also tried to use the camera program but it does not leave us and we have had to uninstall it, on the other hand the robot studio program has given us license failure but quickly Javi has fixed it for us.

Monday 16, Aritz and Xabier left a task pending on the robot, they had to investigate the function "clock" in the RAPID language. This function is that while the clock time passes you can make other movements, but when the condition is completed, it will do the task you have previously pointed out. On the other hand, Adrian and Unai, continued with the exercises at RobotStudio, and they hadn't any difficulties.

Tuesday 17, Aritz and Xabier have finished the programming of the robot ABB, so they continue doing different things, for example, english blog. Adrian and Unai, they have continued with the couple of exercises of the RobotStudio programm. After this, we have to start with the camera to know if the piece is orange or black. To do that, first we have to do 10 different exercises , and they are too difficult.

Thursday 19, today we have finished with the English presentations, we have to say that they have been quite repetitive since most of the classmates have talked about electric cars and hybrid cars. Usually there has been only talk of electric cars, robots, motors and about dual training. Today they have also started with the robot zaran and adrian. on the other hand we have started to implement the camera in the project, but we still lack to perform the vision and on the robot exercises.

Friday 20 th. Today we have seen an IEA course in case next year we are interested in further study. Then at Garazi time, we basically didn't do anything. We've been doing everything but the challenge stuff. But you also have to keep in mind that it's the last day of the year. Then we have Adrian and Unai have started to make the robot, since these two had not yet touched much that part of the challenge. While Xabi, Aritz and Andoni have started they have continued with the camera, as yesterday gave us a mistake.

WEEK 9

Thursday 28, Today some of us continue to program the screen, and we're trying to add things that don't go into the challenge to get a higher score. Tomorrow we plan to finish the most basic part of the screen so that the rest of the team can continue working. This other part of the group continues to improve the program for greater efficiency when working with it.We have also done different English exercises and we have done a listening exercise

Friday 29, Today we continued to make the screen we have made the last brushstrokes to complete the screen, and in the end we have not managed to finish it. With the screen we are having problems since we have to share with another group While the other part of the group, (Aritz, Xabi and Andoni), have made the memory of the final model and the improvements of this. The latter have had problems but in the end they have managed to solve it with the movements of the bits

Monday 2, We entered the last week of the challenge. This week we have the test and we still have a lot of things to do. A part of the team we have continued with the screen and we have had several problems to solve since the version of the screen was not the correct version and we have lost several hours since the teachers had to pass us the new version of the TIA PORTAL program. Meanwhile the other group of the team have continued to finalize the details of the final model.

On Tuesday 3,Today we continued to complete the RAs of the proyect that were missing to complete the screen, but we are still missing a few, while the other part of the group made the model improving some things facing the challenge. At the end we had have an interview and we have see the proyect of some students of San Mames university.

On Wednesday 4, we have done a lot of different things. First, to know how many things we have to do during the task, we all got together to speak about the proyect. After this, we divided in 3 different groups. First group was make by Unai and Adrian, the second group Xabier and Aritz and the final group was only Soto. We divided the task in 3 different parts to finish quickly.
